GB3BM Back on the air in Birmingham
On friday 16th May GB3BM was put into test to
check coverage.
Then at 13.50 on the 19th May 2008
It when into full service.
GB3BM To Return from a city centre
site.

Ofcom have now given me a NOV for a two meter repeater for the Birmingham area.
The box will be co sited with the GB3CB repeater on its city centre site.
Birmingham has been without full repeater coverage for many years now.
So soon it will be time to dig out that 2m sets and put them back in your cars.

GB3VI A New Six Meter Repeater for
Birmingham.
Plans are under way for a Six meter for
Birmingham.
This is an exciteing project as the Repeater will be in the City Centre.
So may suffer from a high noise on RX So get looking for bargin 6m sets on eBay.

on GB3CB!

He changed the Tx aerial from a single dipole to four stack.
But It's a lot weaker here in Erdington & Sutton.
Could be a fault on one of the dipole on the four stack on my side of the aerial?
John said he will look in it.
GB3GB is Ten Years Old.
Yes it only seems like last year I put
GB3GB on air.
But found the Log Book which had only one entry in it,
That was the start time and Date for GB3GB.
